About Us

Making the web accessible for everyone

WCAG Monitor was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves equal access to the web. We build tools that help teams create inclusive digital experiences.

Our Mission

Empowering developers to build accessible websites

Over 1 billion people worldwide live with some form of disability. Yet, according to WebAIM's annual survey, 96% of home pages have detectable accessibility errors.

We're on a mission to change that. By providing automated, continuous accessibility monitoring, we help teams catch and fix issues before they impact users.

Accessibility isn't a feature—it's a fundamental requirement for a truly inclusive web.

What is WCAG?

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are internationally recognized standards developed by W3C. They're organized around four core principles:

Perceivable

Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.

Operable

User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users.

Understandable

Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.

Robust

Content must be robust enough to be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

Our Values

What drives us forward

Accessibility First

We believe the web should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. It's not just compliance—it's the right thing to do.

User-Centered

We build tools that developers actually want to use. Clean interfaces, actionable insights, and seamless workflows.

Trust & Transparency

We're honest about what our tool can and can't do. No marketing fluff, just reliable accessibility testing.

Community Driven

We actively contribute to accessibility standards and open-source projects. Rising tides lift all boats.
